Peptic ulcers are the open bruising in the inner linings of the stomach and the upper part of small intestine. It happens when stomach acids engrave away the protective layer of mucus, this causes burning pain. There are two types of Peptic Ulcers:
Gastric ulcer: Ulcer on stomach lining
Duodenal ulcer: Ulcer on upper side of small intestine
