Protein – Whether you are trying to lose weight or trying to gain weight, protein is required everywhere. And eggs are said to be a great source of protein. In comparison between the egg white and egg yolk, the egg whites have more amount of protein present in them. In total, if a large egg contains 6.28g of protein, then the egg white contains 3.6g of protein out of it, which is a good amount of protein. So, if you are planning to increase your protein intake, try eating more of egg whites.
Carbohydrates – If we talk about the carbs, then you should know that a whole egg contains a very low amount of carbs. When comparing egg white and egg yolk, then you should know that the carbs in an egg are said to be found in the egg yolk only.

Cholesterol – This is a very important factor and you all should know that egg yolk contains more cholesterol than egg white. And more cholesterol can lead to different types of diseases that is why it is recommended that one should eat a limited amount of egg yolk.
